QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR PORTRAIT SHOOTS
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU BOOK A PORTRAIT SHOOTING?
We aim to capture expressive and atmospheric portraits of you, anywhere, whether in natural daylight or with studio flashes. Prior to the shoot, we'll brainstorm ideas together and find the best angles to effectively convey your personality and presence.
We can shoot either in a studio or I can bring my equipment to your desired location. Wherever we meet, I'll ensure you feel comfortable, and together we'll create unique and authentic images.
We'll discuss all of this in an initial pre-talk exchange via phone or email, where we talk about your usages, needs, and goals with these photos.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR PHOTOS?
The best time is generally when you feel comfortable getting your photos taken. Of course, the weather also plays a role. End of April to end of September are great months, especially for outdoor photoshoots. In winter, I recommend studio photos or at least a combination with studio photos. Of course, other indoor locations are also possible.
WHICH OUTFITS SHOULD YOU BRING?
That of course depends heavily on how you see yourself and how you want to position yourself in the future. Feel free to discuss this with your agency as well! Of course, you can also send me your outfits in advance and I'll give you some feedback. Please note that items like shoes are also part of the outfit and should match accordingly. Men should also consider whether they want to bring a razor to be able to change their beard during the shoot.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I CONSIDER AS PREPARATION FOR THE SHOOT?
Once the outfits are sorted out, the main focus is for you to arrive at the shoot feeling fit and relaxed. Try not to overexert yourself mentally or physically in the days leading up to the shoot. You know yourself and your body best - just do what feels good for you. I especially recommend avoiding trying new things (like special facial masks, hair treatments, or new sports exercises) the evening before the shoot, as it can backfire quickly.
WHAT CAN THE PHOTOS BE USED FOR?
With payment of the invoice, you will receive non-exclusive, unlimited usage rights for the promotion of acting activities - meaning for various acting databases, the agency's website, your own website, social media, etc. ... Usage by third parties (except agency/management) is not included. Especially for use in the press, the respective media outlet should contact me to acquire the relevant usage rights.
CAN I BRING MY MAKEUP ARTIST?
Of course, but keep in mind that hair and makeup always take more time - especially if we want to shoot very different looks. The standard package usually doesn't allow enough time for that. If you need recommendations for makeup artists, feel free to ask me!
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE PHOTOS?
You will receive my rough selection no later than a week after our shoot. The final photos will also be delivered no later than a week after your feedback.
WHEN DO I PAY?
After you've received the final images, I'll send you the invoice via email. For this, I'll need your billing address.
