In Marseille once a year there is the alternative Carnaval at la Plaine. To be part of the action, but at the same time integrate the obsession for taking Photos, Photographer David Dollmann dressed up like a speed control radar and incorporated a selfmade portable studio. This included a softbox lighting rig which attached overhead, making it possible to move around with the people and still have good lighting to create the effects and bring out the vibrant faces of the characters of la Plaine.

The outcome is a series of short, Colorful and wild moments of carnaval de la Plaine.
